The Aalto Bubble Vase marks the first anniversary launch of Aalto’s 90-year celebration — a tribute to the mastery of Finnish glassmaking. Each vase is handmade and mouth-blown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland, requiring the skill of several artisans to shape its distinctive bubble structure. The bubbles must rise to precisely the right height for the rim to be cut flawlessly. Every vase is unique, as the movement of the bubbles can never be fully controlled. This process captures the unpredictable beauty of handcrafted glass.

For ninety years, the Aalto vase has embodied the spirit of progress — its organic form redefining what modern design could be.
